I am a Bay Area native who has lived and worked all around the San Francisco Bay while accomplishing my undergraduate and chiropractic degrees. After achieving my B.S. in Kinesiology from Sonoma State University and my Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic West, I am now gratefully settled in Oakland with my wife and our two labradors.
Along with chiropractic work, I am passionate about health and fitness with an emphasis on the lesser understood pyschosocial aspects. I have received the ACBSP CCSP® certification, completed Level I and II RockTape FMT courses, am a NASM Fitness Nutrition Specialist, and an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer.
I knew chiropractic was going to be my career from an early age, after experiencing the magic of it firsthand. My favorite thing about chiropractic is not simply the adjustments, but how even patients in excruciating pain, who can barely lay down on the table at the beginning of the visit, can leave with a smile on their face and relief in their eyes.
I provide chiropractic care that looks at each patient for the complete person they are. My goal is to help facilitate physical changes in conditions as well as personal growth.
In my spare time, I enjoy exploring new beaches, rivers, lakes, or anywhere my two labradors can jump into large bodies of water. You can often find my wife and me hiking through the East Bay's regional parks with our dogs. I have competed as a powerlifter, completed a variety of races, and currently enjoy playing golf, tennis, volleyball, and softball as often as I can.
I love getting to know new patients and I am excited to help you reach your goals!
